It just appears that the Americans have got the ingredients right to make all types of different genre shows.

I mean, take two and a half men for example, having Charlie Sheen in a TV show is a coup in itself, without the fact that the writers are brilliant and Jon Cryer is fantastic as the ‘straight’ right wing man. Well done America – thoroughly entertained.
